This little section is reserved for those little tidbits of information I know hope will be of interest to my readers. Check back often, as I plan on doing a regular update.

I've added new links to my Cool Links folder which can be found here. These mostly consist of practical help for dealing with DID related issues, PTSD and childhood abuse.

This animated short, Pigeon: Impossible, is a creative delight.

I love the simplicity of the collected photos and quotations found here.

Need help finding a therapist? The website for the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation is a good place to start. There's a whole lot of other excellent information as well that's worth checking out.

Scribblings Time Again

A few months have come and gone since I created Scribblings, a website devoted to the sharing of journal entries and art work by abuse survivors. I'm going to be adding some writings of my own and  invite my readers to do the same.

Please keep in mind that you may submit your writings even if your journal is electronic. Simply send me the excerpt, and include a handwritten line or two in explanation as to what prompted the writing. Something as brief as "Written in 1999 at the end of my 10 year marriage" would be fine. Just something to set the scene, so to speak.

Entries should be sent as email attachments. You may use the Write to Beauty link here in my left-hand sidebar. (Apparently the contact form on the Scribblings site is malfunctioning.)

Let's encourage one another to share our voices in telling our individual truths by revealing our deepest wounds. Only by doing so can healing do its work as we stubbornly forge ahead in our journey of healing from childhood victimization.
